VMware rebrand 2018

In 2018, I was one of the design leaders working with Siegel and Gale on the evolution of the VMware corporate brand, designed to shift perceptions of VMware from a company known for virtualization brand to a trusted provider Cloud infrastructure software and services.

The result is a full, bottom-up reimagining of the VMware brand, from strategy and the core Brand Idea, to voice and tone, visual systems and user interface of our digital properties. The update of the design system included the creation of four design languages to accommodate a variety of audience types, a refined color palette, and alignment of the vmware.com web UI to the corporate brand. The updated brand was launched in a new PowerPoint template, new collateral templates, new web guidelines and a comprehensive Brand Guideline.
